KidsCare Before & After School Program

The KidsCare program is a before and after-school program operated by the SPCS Education Foundation located at Springfield Elementary and supports both elementary schools.

KidsCare offers programming during regular school days, early dismissals, non-school days, and summer vacation.

KidsCare operates under a school age license. In order to be eligible to enroll, all children must be currently enrolled in SPCS public schools and be of school age. School age starts the first day of kindergarten and goes through 6th grade. Due to this restriction, all incoming kindergartners will not be able to attend our summer program until after they have completed kindergarten.

Our goal is to enhance communication and keep you informed about your child's progress and upcoming events. We encourage you to check the portal regularly to stay up to date with the latest news and information.

Westmont Students and Bus Riders

Westmont children need to be at Springfield Elementary no later than 7:15 a.m. (8:15 a.m. on Mondays) to be able to eat breakfast (if they choose) and catch the bus to Westmont at 7:45 a.m. (8:45 a.m. Mondays). Kids ride the bus back to Springfield in the afternoon. Westmont Elementary has an attendance list of KidsCare bus riders. Children must go straight to the bus when they are dismissed. If they miss the bus, you will be informed immediately and must pick up your child at Westmont Elementary school. Please remind your child that riding the bus is a privilege and good behavior is expected.

Important: If your child is not riding the bus, please call, text, or email KidsCare. Phone: (402) 657-8125
